Steam Boilers are
indispensable for most of the industrial plants. The performance of
any such industry mainly depends upon an efficient and trouble-free
boiler installed.
KSEW
manufactures Fire Tube Packaged Scotch Boilers in a wide range of
capacities from 150 HP to 600 HP. These Boilers can be Oil Fired,
Gas Fired or a combination depending upon the specific requirements
of the customers. Combustion, Safety Controls, Feed Pumps and Low
Water Cut Outs are incorporated and the scantling of pressure parts
are rated over and above the minimum code requirements, ensuring a
greater built in safety and security. The Boilers are designed for
complete automatic forced draft operation. Each boiler is
hydrostatically tested during construction and surveyed by International
Classification Society Surveyors. A full operational test run
can be arranged in KSEW prior to the Boiler's transportation
and installation at the customers premises. The sales are covered
with a warranty period after installation.
Under a technical
collaboration agreement with FCB France (Subsequently Babcock
Boilers), KSEW acquired the design, know how and technology
for local manufacturers of Water Tube Boilers of up to 80
Tons per hour steam generating capacity. Although oil and/or gas
burners can be provided, these are basically bagasse fired boilers
fitted with Detroit Spreader Stockers with pneumatic
projector and dumping grate for bagasse firing. The boilers are self
supporting. Drum & Lower Headers rest on a metallic
frame, expansion occurring freely upwards. The two drums and furnace
wall are cooled by Water Tubes. The brick work consisting of
refractory & heat insulation, protected by strongly stiffened
metal casing, is light and easy to maintain. The boiler can be
equipped with an economizer or an air heater according to customers
