KSEW offers complete Sugar Plants on turn key basis. So far KSEW has produced Faran Sugar Mills, Sanghar Sugar Mills and Matiari Sugar Mills of 2000-3000 TCD capacity and Al-Abbas Sugar Mills, Khairpur Sugar Mills, Larr Sugar Mills and Tharparkar Sugar Mills of 4000-5000 TCD capacity. These plants have the latest technology and automation. Nearly 80% of the machines required for a Sugar Plant are manufactured in KSEW. KSEW is in the Sugar Plant manufacturing since 1960 when the design and technology was acquired from Stork Werkspoor of Holland, with whom the technical collaboration agreement continued till 1981.

Thereafter technological advancements in the manufacturing process of sugar during the last decade demanded changes in the pattern and design of manufacturing of Sugar Mill Machinery. Consequently, KSEW entered into another collaboration agreement with Fives-Cail Babcock (FCB), a leading French firm backed up technologically by research centres to design and develop process to supply turn-key installation and build equipment for sugar industry in particular.

This company enjoys a distinct superiority by virtue of the original equipment it has developed for most being Self-Setting Mill for Sugar Cane Crushing and the Continuous Vacuum Pan for Sugar Crystallization. FCB's contribution towards modernization and improvement includes:

These special design features reduce wear on the mills and provide continuous sugar crystallization process.
